Established in 1948 and celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Thames Ditton Regatta remains a very popular event in the British rowing calendar. Despite increasing demand for multi-lane racing, the regatta still attracts top crews from schools, clubs and universities from around the UK. In excess of 250 entries are received each year. Racing takes place on the 1000 metre course that stretches alongside Hampton Court Palace and ends just downstream of the River Mole.
